“Star Light”Sermon Series

On that first Christmas night, God pointed people to Jesus by the Light of a Star, Announcement by Angels, and Prediction by Prophets.  Each sign along the way nudged people to find and experience the Savior of the World. How is God shining a path in your life back to Jesus?  Journey with our church family this Christmas season as we seek our Savior in our 8:45am Contemporary and 11am Traditional worship services.           

Dec 14 Pt 1:“Shining Star” Scripture: Matthew 2:1-2, 7-11, Theme: The star was a sign urging them to leave home in search of Jesus. Are you at home where you are, or is something telling you that there must be more?

Dec 21 Pt 2:“Announcement by Angels” Scripture: Luke 2:8-14 Theme: The angels intercepted the shepherds in the fields and directed them to Jesus. How does the busyness of life drown out the voice of angels pointing you to Jesus?

Dec 24 (Christmas Eve) Pt 3: “Prediction by Prophets” Christmas Eve, Dec 24  Scripture: Luke 2:1-7 Theme: God led Mary and Joseph to leave home for Bethlehem. What comforts pull on you to ‘stay’ while the plan of God calls you to ‘go’?
