Children's Ministries

Children are a vital part of Saraland UMC. The following ministries serve children from birth through 6th grade.

Early Learning Center
The weekday ELC is open to the public, for children who are Walking through K4.  Our ELC offers flexible days and times, including full-time care Monday through Friday. Children receive love in a Christian environment, and excellent educational preparation for Kindergarten.  Click Here to Learn More

Children's Sunday School
Sunday School is offered at 10:00 a.m. for children age 3 years through 6th grade. LOCATION: Rooms 9 - 12. A nursery is available for children age 2 and younger.

Sunday Morning Nursery
Though children of all ages are always welcome in our worship services, a nursery is provided for those who need or would like to use it. Our lobby (narthex) is also available for parents who wish to see and hear the worship service if you must step out with a child. The nursery is for children ages 0-3 years and is located in the 3rd room on the right in the Sunday School hallway.

Children’s Church
Children’s Church is offered during both the Bold (8:45 a.m.) and Classic (11 a.m.) Services for children age 4 years through 3rd grade. Children go to worship with their parents and are dismissed to go to Children’s Church during the offering. Children’s Church is held in the Choir Room (at the top of the steps) and children are returned to their parents before church is ended.

Children’s Worship Kits
Children are welcome to remain in worship with their parents if they do not wish to attend Children's Worship. Children’s Worship Kits will be available each Sunday (containing crayons, paper). Please make sure to leave the Worship Kits to be refilled for the next week.

Wednesday Night Programs
Each Wednesday night at 6:15 after Wednesday Night Supper.

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts
Each Monday night, our Scout Troop 113, provides educational, service, and growth opportunities for boys of all ages.

Special Events
