I Always Wanted to Know…

Ialwayswantedtoknow medium

As the old comic line used to go, “Kids say the darndest things!”  And when it comes to asking good questions about faith, sometimes children’s questions are the best!  So, we asked our church’s own elementary school children to tell us one thing that they always wanted to know about God. Our children gave us amazing questions that they have struggled with their whole lives!  But these questions are the same challenging ideas of faith that many adults also ponder.

Over the summer months, we will answer some of their most challenging questions, one by one!  Join us in June and July as we attempt to tackle some of these perplexing concepts through our summer sermon series, “I Always Wanted to Know…”

“What is Heaven Like?“  (June 8)
“How does God hear our prayers?” (June 15)
“Why doesn’t God destroy the devil?”  (June 22)
“Why did God make people?” (June 29)
“Why did Jesus have to die on the cross?” (July 6)
“Does God do magic?” (July 13)
“What does God look like?” (July 20)
“How is Jesus part of God?”  (July 27)

I hope you have an amazing and relaxing summer!  We hope to see you often for Sunday worship as well as the many other activities for children, students, and adults throughout the next couple of months!

Blessings!
Dr. Mike Hoppe
